About Cloverleaf Paintbox
The Cloverleaf Paintbox was developed by English artist Barry Herniman.Barry’s first exhibition of watercolours was in 1991 and was predominantely of local Wye Valley scenes. Since then he has travelled quite extensively both home and abroad, constantly gathering reference material and inspiration for his paintings.
‘During my years as a full time artist I have produced Practical painting books and DVD’s and am also a regular article contributer to The Artist magazine. Although I have painted in many mediums I always come back to watercolours … which were my first love. Nothing can quite match the excitement and wonder of wet washes fusing together on the paper.’
